The Cosmic muffin

Clos du Paradis “Domaine Viret” 2000 Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Saint-Maurice “Cosmic” (Rhône) – This seems to be thinning faster than the ’99 did, but it’s still hanging on to tastefulness. All the components are there – strawberry, a touch of blueberry, some sunny, rough-hewn sandstone – with just a touch of dilution, and a tailing off on the finish. (4/08)
