The Crossings 2006 Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough) – Mostly grass at this stage, with some whitewashed minerality and a solid, dry whap of acidity. I normally like this producer and this wine a lot, but this one is a little volume-reduced vs. other vintages; that said, it’s still better than many of its sugary, overly-tropical brethren. (7/08)
